Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 April 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BreachWarden ("Service") operated by BreachWarden ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

BreachWarden monitors email addresses you provide against known data breach databases and delivers alerts when your email address appears in a breach. The Service checks email addresses against multiple global breach intelligence databases.

⚠️ Important limitation: BreachWarden can detect breaches that are indexed in the breach databases we query. We cannot guarantee detection of all breaches — private, unreported, or newly discovered breaches may not yet be in any public database. The absence of a breach alert does not mean your data has not been compromised. BreachWarden is a monitoring tool, not a guarantee of security.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Account Responsibilities

4. Subscriptions and Billing

BreachWarden is a paid subscription service. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

No Refund Policy: All subscription payments are non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer partial-period refunds or credits. This applies to all plans and add-ons. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact [email protected] within 14 days and we will investigate.

5. Gift Subscriptions

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal (accessible from your account settings or the /billing command in the Telegram bot). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your monitored emails will remain active until that date.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

9. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend or terminate the Service with reasonable notice. In the event of a planned permanent shutdown, we will notify users by email at least 30 days in advance.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
